When this lens first came out I am sure many were not expecting much but I must say this has been a gem. It is lightweight and easy to carry around all day and has produced very good sharpness, contrast, and nice colors. Many times I find myself grabbing this lens versus my Nikon 70-200mm VR. For what this lens delivers you would be hard pressed to to beat it in this price range.
