This is an excellent "everyday" lens. Great optical performance, very effective IS that is as quick and quiet as the super fast USM focusing. It is sharp at wide angle from edge to edge. I shoot architectural and interiors and this lens is every bit as sharp as my previous 17-40 L lens. This is a very capable lens and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an "all in one" EF-S lens.
