Purchasing the 5D was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I carry this camera everywhere, from photojournal projects to nature hikes. It is light and small. Carrying a 1D Mark II can sometimes be strenuous. The 5D avoids that.
The 5D handles well under low-light situations. Concerts and indoors sports look great when using this camera. I will be using this camera until it dies.
Hopefully it doesn't die from water, though. I have found myself hiking in rain, and I am sometimes afraid to take it out.
