Image quality,flexibility,good ergonomics,very good&solid build quality, very 'forgiving' camera(Exposure wise),excellent batterylife&performance,big&bright&clean view finder,fast&accurateAF performance.

Excellent contrast,very sharp (Even @ F4) Silent,good build quality,work's well with the Sigma 1.4 TC (AF still work's&image quality is excellent),good price/performance ratio,comes with a nice padded case&hood&tripod mounting ring,constant F4,internal focusing.

Cons:

Slightly heavy but hey it is a 300mm F4 lens,zoom ring is a little firm,82mm filter size.

For me : It is the best <300mm zoom lens under 1000$.Actually it is better than my other tele : Canon 100-400L and par with my 70-200L's.
I really like this lens.

If i have to compare aginst my 'old' 10D : Faster AF,good joystick,better battery life,faster start up,bigger&better resolution, much better view finder,more effect's,slightly better iso/noise performance,slightly smaller body size,EFS lens support,much faster re view of the photo's,built quality.

Nearly the same boring body design ,small buffer(specially for raw),no spot metering,lock up(only once and i have to remove the battery),no iso in viewfinder,

Overall i am happy with my new EOS 20D.Maybe it's not a 'real' upgrade over a 10D owner but as i said i am a very happy camper  it is the best camera in it's class.The price/performance ratio is very good.
