I bought this lense 6 months ago and I'm more than happy with it.
I use it mainly to shoot portraits or during low light situations and it is simply great. It has very little distortion and gives a great boukeh. It is sharper at f/1.4 than the Nikon 28mm f/1.4 AF and MUCH sharper than Nikon's old-school 35mm f/1.4 MF lens. This lense is like a vampire. It unfolds its full potential only during low light or night scenes. For me the perfect lense to shoot inside restaurants or clubs.
Try it out! It's really worth the money!
