This is an awesome lens. Having coming from a 16-35 and 50 1.4 combo, I wish I would have gotten this lens first! This lens is SUPER quick to focus(on a 1D) and gives incredible background blur. It is a bit heavier and bulkier than I thought but balances nicely on your camera. The one complaint I might have is that the lens hood is HUGE. But once you put it on the lens itself, its not as bad.

Love this lens. It focuses super fast, even with my D60. I like to use it for portraits but some might find it a tad too long with the D30/D60/10D.
The boken is VERY nice.
