Canon EOS 6D

Review Date: Oct 4, 2015 Recommend? yes | Price paid: Not Indicated | Rating: 10

Pros: Small and lightweight, full frame, great high iso
Nothing really for the price

I bought this last month and am just getting used to it. My previous cameras were the D60, 1D, 20D and 1Ds2 being my last one. The iso is leaps and bounds above anything I've used. I knew going into it, that the focus wasn't going to be as great as my last camera. That being said, I haven't found anything that the center point can't lock onto. I don't do action or wildlife so for the moment, it's been great. Small, light weight and with a 40 STM, very portable. If it's missing anything, it'd be a little pop up flash for when you need it against bright backgrounds.

Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM

Review Date: Jul 9, 2004 Recommend? yes | Price paid: $1,137.00 | Rating: 10

Pros: Built like tank, 2.8, fast focus, sharp
Big, heavy, little pricey

This is an awesome lens. Having coming from a 16-35 and 50 1.4 combo, I wish I would have gotten this lens first! This lens is SUPER quick to focus(on a 1D) and gives incredible background blur. It is a bit heavier and bulkier than I thought but balances nicely on your camera. The one complaint I might have is that the lens hood is HUGE. But once you put it on the lens itself, its not as bad.

Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM

Review Date: Apr 19, 2003 Recommend? yes | Price paid: $339.00 | Rating: 10

Pros: Great color, sharp, focuses fast, F1.8
not a F1.2...

Love this lens. It focuses super fast, even with my D60. I like to use it for portraits but some might find it a tad too long with the D30/D60/10D.
The boken is VERY nice.
