Reasonably fast zoom and cheap

Poor quality build and very soft. I thought I had the dreaded focus problem with my 10D until I tried a different lens.

Unless you are looking for a cheap lens to snap fuzzy pictures with stay away from this lens. I went to a 28-105 f/3.5-4.5 and was amazed how much better the quality was. I payed less on ebay for the 28-105 than I did for the 28-90 brand new.
