Pros: Everything
Cons:
None that I have come across

Bought this to replace a hugely unreliable 28-135 IS and have never looked back.It may be expensive but the quality of the shots and reliability more than do it justice.
Get one if you can

Pros: Handling,quality,fast focusing & IS
Cons:
None bar price

I bought this lens to replace my Sigma 70-200 EX HSM and can honestly say that image quality is in my eyes - identical.
But.........the canon stands in a class of it's own with the IS function either for slow shutterspeeds when panning or for getting candids at weddings with no flash or tripod. For this latter reason alone I never leave the lens at home when I cover weddings and despite the initial cost I have found it to be good value for money in the no of saleable shots it has produced.

Pros: AF,METERING,HANDLING,8FPS,1.3x crop & EASE OF USE
Cons:
No facility to zoom when reviewing shots

Had mine for almost 9 months now and can honestly say my only gripe is the inability to zoom when reviewing shots.
The camera has fantastic AF speed with my L glass and the clarity of shots at high ISO speeds puts film to shame.
Some folk whine about the lack of pixels but the again that's why Canon have the 1DS,I for one am happy enough with quality from this camera and have had many 30x20,24x20,18x12 enlargements made which leave people gobsmacked when I tell them the shots came from a 4MP DSLR

Pros:
Cons:

BEWARE!! I bought this lens to complement my EOS 3 back in 1999 shortly after its release and have to say it never really impressed.
For starters mine only zoomed to approx 120mm and even though I treat all my equipment with respect it had to go back to Canon TWICE to get the zooming barrel repaired as it used to stick/lock up at shorter focal lengths.
Needless to say after the second repair I sold it on and replaced it with a 24-70f2.8L

Pros: Ultra wide angle at f2.8,balances wellon all my equipment
Cons:
None

Bought this lens to replace a Sigma 15-30 even though I lost 1mm at the wide end this is more than compensated by it being an f2.8.
I do not know why anyone has problems with this lens as I find it to give me excellent results all of the time and honestly would feel as if I were missing a limb if I went to job without it.
