Pros:
Cons:

I picked up a used copy of this here on the forums and have been very happy with my copy. Mine is nice and sharp on my 5d Mark II. The colors might be a bit duller than with some of my other L lenses but easy enough to bump that up in ACR. I'm particularly happy because I haven't found purple/cyan fringing like I had with another WA lens from a brand that shall remain nameless :-) I would like to have had the 16-35 for the bigger aperture but for the price I am very pleased with this lens, especially since I can up the ISO on the 5d Mark II without a lot of "noise" in the photos so I've found the f/4 shots I've taken indoors (without flash) have turned out quite well.

Pros: Great Image Quality, very good at higher ISOs,
Cons:
Slow autofocus in low light situations

Best camera I've ever owned. When I compare the image quality to the photos from my Canon EOS 7d there is no comparison. Granted I like my 7d too but my guilty pleasure is being a pixel peeper and I'm always impressed at just how good the 5d mark II files look at 100%. The video from this camera is simply amazing too. I briefly flirted with the idea of selling this camera and just keeping the 7d but I would have regretted it the minute it shipped. If you are not doing a lot of sports or fast action photography and great image quality is important to you . . . this is the camera to get!

Pros: Versatile focal range, Fast, Sharp
Cons:
Would be even more amazing if it had IS

This lens is my favorite as the focal range is most versatile and the f/2.8 makes it fast enough for most situations. I have found it to produce beautiful photos on both my Canon 5d Mark II and my 7d. I use it for portraits, landscapes, just about everything . . . it is a great walk around lens. This will be the one lens I will keep as long as I have Canon DSLR cameras.
