I also have the 24-105L and tend to use this more because of the IS. When the light is good I always use the 24-70L and am regularly surprised how much better the IQ is over the 24-105L. I hope when Canon update this lens they will add IS.

Coming from a 550 EX I could not believe how fast this unit recycles. It is easy to use and produces very good results. I liked it so much I bought a second one.
