I bought this lens for my EOS 350D because I thought this would be a perfect match. In terms of range it is the perfect match.
I was very disapointed about the results. There is a lot of barrel distortion in the range from 17-28 mm. and it just doesn't produce sharp pictures.
I returned this lens in exchange for the 17-40 L which was a very good thing to do.
