Great lens at a good price! Very, very sharp and works great with the 1.4X converter. IS is very useful for handheld shots. This lens exceeds my expectations, what a great bargain for a 300mm prime, and it's a Canon!!!!

A truly remarkable piece of equipment. This camera allows you to do things that you thought were impossible. If you are in the market for a DSLR, grab this one!! I would have been happy if I paid twice as much! This is without a doubt, the BEST camera on the market!! Even better than the MarkII that replaced it.

Hood not included, would have been nice to have it included.

A great lens for the price. Almost the perfect walk around lens. I end up using it most of the time. Not bad for portraits, again considering the price. Flash indoors is a must. Just a great, old reliable lens that never seems to let you down.
