Canon EOS Rebel XTi (400D)

Review Date: Nov 1, 2006 Recommend? yes | Price paid: $800.00 | Rating: 9

Pros: Better AF,extra 2MP from it's predecessor,better buffer,LCD screen and dust reduction.
Plastic feeling(as all xxxD series). Not great comfort without the grip(in my opinion necessary).

I sold the 10D and bought the 400D.It is lighter but feels plastic.I think that it is a very good camera for the money. It has the 20/30D focus system with good ISO performans. The LCD is very good and I like it.I am not much of a MP maniac but I like the extra 4MP from my 10D.It is a good choice for people who do not want to spend too much money in a body(go for glass people!!!).

Canon EOS 10D

Review Date: Dec 8, 2005 Recommend? yes | Price paid: $1,000.00 | Rating: 8

Pros: Build quality, noise at higher ISO(compeared to camera like D70),cheap if bought used, good image quality.
Slow starter(compeared to new camera),small buffer(also compeared to new camera).

This is my first DSLR so I find it relatively good choice to start. It is not very expensive(used),it has very good filling and build quality. In nowdays it is a relatively slow starter and low buffer camera but still takes good picture and it's good enought for me,for now.

Pros: Fast and not noisy focus, build quality,f/2.8,sharpness(even at f2.8),weight
vighetting at 2.8(easy corected),warmer colors

I bought this lens 3 months ago.I am a really happy for the $$$ that I paid for this very good lens.I had very good samples with this lens.If I had the $$$ I would have gone for the Canon 16-35L f/2.8(2.8 is important for me).
