Pros:
Better AF,extra 2MP from it's predecessor,better buffer,LCD screen and dust reduction.
Cons:
Plastic feeling(as all xxxD series). Not great comfort without the grip(in my opinion necessary).
I sold the 10D and bought the 400D.It is lighter but feels plastic.I think that it is a very good camera for the money. It has the 20/30D focus system with good ISO performans. The LCD is very good and I like it.I am not much of a MP maniac but I like the extra 4MP from my 10D.It is a good choice for people who do not want to spend too much money in a body(go for glass people!!!).

Pros:
Build quality, noise at higher ISO(compeared to camera like D70),cheap if bought used, good image quality.
Cons:
Slow starter(compeared to new camera),small buffer(also compeared to new camera).
This is my first DSLR so I find it relatively good choice to start. It is not very expensive(used),it has very good filling and build quality. In nowdays it is a relatively slow starter and low buffer camera but still takes good picture and it's good enought for me,for now.

I bought this lens 3 months ago.I am a really happy for the $$$ that I paid for this very good lens.I had very good samples with this lens.If I had the $$$ I would have gone for the Canon 16-35L f/2.8(2.8 is important for me).
