It's been made with care. To me the lens is sharp all the way from 24 till 60 in F 2.8. It's razorsharp between F 4 and F 11. I think this is an amazing lens which can compete with lenses that cost three times as much! People complain about the noise the AF-systeem seems to make but I don't think it's annoying
