Great lens, I am shooting more and more of my weddings with this lens. Well worth the price.

Pros: Sharp, ok build quality, cheap

Great lens, either for use as a fisheye or for ultra wide angle shots (with correction). For my review and an article read here:

Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM

Pros: Inexpensive and fast
Cons:
Build quality not up to my standards

The 50mm f/1.4 is a nice lens, I could just never get past the really lightweight plasticky feel of the construction. Mind you, compared to many off-brand lenses or other consumer lenses it's fine, but I migrated from an old manual focus system where everything was metal, and as a result this just felt lousy. I ended up selling it and use Ls now for the better construction and more solid feel.

Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM

Pros: Very sharp, does not require 1:1 tube. Well made.
Cons:
As with all non-L series lenses, it does not come with a hood. I recommend getting one immediately.

Overall an excellent lens, and given there are no L series macros below 180mm it is very popular with professionals. Build quality is very good for a consumer lens. Recommended.
