There are better lenses than this, but all of them cost five times more at least. At this price it is a 'must try' before getting anything else, because if it does the job for you, you will have saved a buck.
Makes a good portrait lens on 1.6x crop cameras.
Wish Canon made a mark 3, exactly the same but with a metal mount and a slightly better focusing ring.
