Really evokes a feeling of an old ghost town. I'm ready for two gunslingers to show up! Great shot!

Nice piece! The strong foreground object and distant building create depth and gently pull the eye through the image. Your B&W treatment fits the subject well. However, the jet vapor trails are rather ironic in such a well executed old west theme...

Vow! This is an amazing pic. The composition, B&W, the story. I am a nature and wildlife guy, I never really like this kind of pics. I have seen a number of pics from Bodie, none impressed me until this one. This is a master piece. Congrats!

Dear Fred,
An image after my own heart. I was just in Bodie last month shooting infrared and love it!! I'll be back there in 2 weeks. Can't wait. If anyone has any questions about Bodie, don't hesitate to contact me. Wink

Isn't Bodie a great place? I used to live near there. I've shot that exact wagon, many times over the last twenty years. You made a nice image there. Well done. I just returned from there, where I burned three rolls of B/w IR, and some Velvia 50. It's a fantastic place, isn't it?

I've been there a few times, I live in Las Vegas so its not too far.

The picture is very well done, but the trails in the sky from the planes make it appear much less ghostly to me.

Very impressive. I try to immage how it seems to enlarge 100 x 150 cm. I propose that spectator have to sat down on a stool before looking picture.

Great shot - love the framing especially with the wagon.

The jet contrails are a bit distracting though and take away from the "ghost" town feeling . . .
