Hey Twigs, I'm still going through my pictures i took over New Year's in Merida, Yucatan, MX. This was shot at the Archeology Museum where they concentrate on their Mayan heritage.

Glad to see you back in action Jim. No tripod here or at any of the Mayan sites (none allowed). I may have had the camera right up against the glass of the case, using it as a support.

I suppose some critics denigrate; others try to keep mediocrity at bay....

A fine presentation with the black BG and spotlight on the sculptures.
Mayan and Aztec history is fascinating and your photo conveys this allure.
