Description: My last view from the top of the Twin towers.

What was just a snapshot of the terrfic view, and a picture that I rejected for the album because the ligth was dull, is now a photo with a thrill and lots of emotions.

Superb composition, Peter. So poignant. I guess what you'd call hearbreakingly beautiful. The best photos tell a story on so many levels. This one tells thousands. And a perfect title.

Great photographs. Emotions.. Well, I live in a community in NJ where a lots of folks went to work one day and did not come back. I still have a hard time believing that the towers are gone. I don't keep many photo mags, but there is one I never threw out.. It is the Jan/Feb issue of American Photo that has a very simple cover.. the smashed and dirt covered D30 that photographer Bill Biggart used ... he was killed on that day. The CF card survived and his last photos are in that issue. Your photos are great and now have meaning way beyond what you might have ever imagined. Thanks for sharing. Regards. R.

stunning and very poignant. i will never forget the patterns in the metal as you have captured here; and how they looked twisted and smouldering on the ground...thanks for sharing...
