Beauty, beauty, beautiful.
While i don't entirely understand the gravity of your tribute, i find this image as among one of your best i've seen to date. Superb. Rule of thirds is outta the window. Simply perfect. and again i totally dig it.

The lonely monolith tree prevailing even amonst the harshes of times, the branches, reaching up from the scalded earth showing its perseverance. Perhaps its easy to get swept away with our own issues,a photos like this is a great tribute to our earth and its own confrontations..
