Description: Yesterday i had a shooting with some theatre people, taking some pictures for the new program , the ChristmasSuite, here in my town.
My friend was invited to, i know him from since i was a litlle child. But then i was so afraid of him, his tourching eyes always pointed at me, while i was hiding behind my dad. Now i love his eyes and also the stories about his moviehero "John Ford"

Striking is too tame a way of describing this absolutely stunning portrait.

The many wrinkles tell how great a distance this man has traveled in life, and of the wisdom he has acquired.

The botomless blue of his eyes speak of his uniqueness.

I agree with Steve. A wonderful portrait.

Monique, Im amazed. Could you take a minute and explain to the less gifted how this image was taken (details) and processed (Ps work). It could take many years of practice for me and never reach your level of skill and vision. Too much I think for us mear mortals... Congrats on wonderful work...

what lens did you use for this one? Also, how do you typically sharpen your 10D images? I would be very intersted in the settings you use for the sharpening as you have a very effective technique...

So much movement. Portraits don't get better than this.
