Wow, this is nice! I can't tell from the angle whether this was taken from Tour Montparnasse or Tour Eiffel. I would guess the former, it just doesn't seem to have the right angle for the latter. In either case you must have used a really long lens on a tripod. Tres bien!

This image of Notre-Dame was shot from the top floor of Tour Montparnasse, using Canon EF 200mm f/2.8 lens mounted on a D60.
15s f/8.0 at 200.0mm (35mm equivalent: 318mm) iso100
