Thanks all for the comments. This scene is sidelit by the kitchen window and I threw a black poster board up in the background. I was really captivated by how the big Tulip peddals were radiating the light.

Beautiful photos Baldor, I'm a little new to this and I'm quite envious of your photos georgeous. I to like to take photos of flowers.... what lens and camera were you using when you took these.
