Beautiful image Baldur. The nice colors in the surroundings (including the sky) combine to make the steam of the geyser stand out.

Thanks you Lee.
This is actually the original geyse; as in, where the name came from. It means; Too gallop forth, or to rush forth in Icelandic. This 'geyser' is not very active any more and only really blows once in a blue moon. It was only rumbling a little when I was there and it was the first time I have seen any signs of life from it.
I was born and raised in Iceland, but I've lived in the States for 25 yrs. All the images I have posted of Iceland were taken on a family vacation 4 yrs ago.
