Excellent composition, lighting and exposure.
Very well done with sepia toning.

Excellent, Peter,
You've managed to revive the mood of old Montmartre..

Interesting photo Peter. I really enjoy the way the lamps and steps flow downward from your vantage point. Did you take this photo around 12 PM not 12 AM, No?

I remember being in Paris back in 1979 and I believe in this same area or very near, I took a shot that is close to this one. Loved the place. I like the treatment you have given this image. loa...

Peter definitely has a photographer's eye. I was in Monte Marte last year but I didn't see this scene and was just concentrating on the Sacred Heart church like any other tourist.

I love the photograph, u captured it perfectly. And these shots always work better than ones of the scare coeur that everbody knows, altho I think all of Montmatre has probably been well over phtographed!! Your composition is great, altho i cant help wondering if it wold be even more asthetically pleasing if the perspective ran from the left to right instead because the eyes reads the phtograph that way? But I know that if you had taken the shot this way you would have got the ghastly funicular in shot, so great job!
