Description: “Tears of Stone” is a CU photograph of one of the three huge bronze sculptures of Native Americans comprising the center piece of the Swann Memorial Fountain in Philadelphia. Located at Logan Square on the Benjamin Franklyn Parkway, the three sculptures were created by Alexander Stirling Calder in 1924. “Tears of Stone” was photographed using a Canon EOS 1V with an EF 70-200mm, f/2.8L lens and Fujichrome Provia 100F. The transparency was then scanned and manipulated in Photoshop with the assist of a WACOM graphics tablet and pen.
