I shot the NEX 7 with the SEL 24-70/4 ZA OSS alongside with the A7r and the Zeiss Contax N Vario-Sonnar T* 2.8/17-35.
Here are some of the pictures from the NEX 7 and the FE zoom:

26mm 1/1250s f8 ISO 100

70mm 1/320s f8 ISO 100

70mm 1/25s f4 ISO 100

70mm 1/160s f4 ISO 100

48mm 1/30s f6.3 ISO 100

I have put up a series of images with the A7r and the Contax N zoom from the same day in the Contax N images thread. It's on page 72 post #11.

Bigger sized images can be found on my NEX album on Flickr:

Week 9, Saturday - Two worlds
"I firmly believe that good photograph should have some context or it should tell something Ė otherwise itís just picture without meaning or a technical study. Only the picture is not enough, but neither is the story. Thatís the main reason why I see the effort of writing something about every picture. In a sense, taking a picture and writing something about it is an exercise which will force me to interpreter my own pictures. [...]"

Great stuff on this page. An image of my mother, while we were on vacation in Mexico. Nex 7 with 16-50mm at 16.

I bought a Kipon OM-Nex tilt shift adapter and took it out over the weekend.

Walking on the sandflats pre-dawn, bitterly cold on Saturday am
21/3.5 MC tilt working quite well to get apparent extended DOF on a 5R

Got this old ship timber in focus front to back

Turned the corner at the end of the bar to come up the other side and found iced over sea water left in ripples and clam holes

Some different patterns

In the ripples I found embedded rocks and seashells

All taken at pretty much MFD, 9-12". I tried to switch to a 24/2 but there's a fin on the back that needs a trim before it will fit so these are all still the 21/3.5

I just couldn't stop

A little different from seeing them on ice on the counter

Last shot leaving the beach

Thanks Carsten.
Cool it was ... you know they say "all fingers and thumbs" when you fumble something? Saturday am it was more like "no fingers or thumbs"

"those rainbows" I took a bunch of shots with the SEL1628 intending a stitch to show the whole 2 rainbows arcing around from start to finish, but between my slight movements and centre metering there were too many discrepancies.

How do you stitch? Autopano Pro does a great job with both movements and exposure

Week 10, Wednesday - Laterna magica
"I donít know about you, but every time I edit my photographs in computer software (todays laterna magica really), Iím facing a question of how much I should bend reality in favor of something else (usually visual aesthetics). I feel if I bend it enough I will eventually break the photograph because it becomes something that doesnít exist. [...]"

To be honest I've only done one successfully ever using Photoshop Merge > collage, if the shots are lined up perfectly with equal exposure it works, but PS fails miserably (or I do?!) with anything else. Must try Autopano - does the well regarded free Miscrosoft Ice do stitches as well as panos?

Thanks,
Alan

I don't know about Ice but APP does very well. You can send me some jpgs to try if you like, although their demo is fully featured, just puts a watermark over your image.
