Week 6, Saturday - Egg Visions
"I don't know where the idea for this picture came, so don't ask. All I know that I had sight in my mind for couple of days and I wish I would remember where it started precisely. It kept coming back and to realize it I needed to found certain kind of egg cartons which have holes in them. At the first it turned out that they don't make so much that kind of cartons anymore, they are all closed ones. I wandered from shop to another with Aura on a daily basis and just when I was about to give up, we found these 'old kind of egg cartons' and were very happy. Later at same night I found myself laughing alone while I was setting things up for this photograph. It was fun to shoot. [...]"

I took out a newly arrived 15mm Voigtlander Heliar. This is the version made with a Nikon F mount (w/mirror lockup only). I bought it so that I could use it with a Nikon-Nex tilt shift adapter. I have the 12mm as well.

A little shift in the 1st one, much more in the 2nd and 3rd

Got to play with the FE ZA 55/1.8 on my 5R today. I'm seriously impressed. Need to get me one of these.

Wide open, ISO 800.

Also got to try both Touit's (liked the 12, the 32 was good but not great) and the 20/2.8 (very good).

Is that the bridge that blew up in the movie True Lies? Great shot, captured the colour of the water beautifully!
