Silly question for you guys that shoot multiple mount glass, how do you keep track of what image is from what lens? I was switching between a Zuiko and a C/Y last night and now for the life of me I can't tell what images are from what setup since there's no EXIF data. Nor can I recall the f stop I shot at, lol. Good thing I shoot primes, so at least I can remember what foca length I was shooting at. 1/3 isn't bad.

In my Canon Days I bought programmable adapters for each lens. Cheap from China. Then I coded focal length (+ a bit to influence the automatic the prolong the aperture time) and largest aperture.

It is hard! I try to organise my photo's the same day when I still do know what lens i used.
When i use many lenses i photograph something stupid to mark the change.
Not very professional, I guess.

Sometimes I use my smartphone to take notes. I thought for a while what I'd do is take a photo of the next lens before I put it on, but it was too much of a hassle to do that.

Jim, great shot with the fire department connection. I shot this yesterday at our station. We have a couple of new recruits. They study quite a bit, and of course when I break out the camera, nobody wants to show their face! Nex 7 with Sony 35 1.8.

Just before you switch lenses take a photo of the lens you're about to put on

More testing .. is figuring out what focal length that I want on my nex ..as allround lens
Once I get a new lens for this
however I think 25-28mm will be good ( hmmm.. but which ? )

Here are a few with Zeiss 21

sry .. was not perfect focus on the dragonfly

I have both 25 and 28mm ZF lenses and love em both dearly on NEX, and believe it or not, they serve quite different purposes.

have try with both zeiss 35 f2 and 50 MP and they work fine .. But want to have something that is smaller and lighter than the Planar and Distagon ..
thinking contax G 28 or zm 25 or 28 or 28 nikon ai-s?
last might suit me best when I can have much use of it on my D700 . is really good on D700
the question is how good it is on nex

I like 21-28 lenses the most, but I typically carry one longer lens with me in the 85-135 range, but if I'm limited to one lens, it would be in the 35-60 range.

The Nikon AIS 28/2.8 is very good on a nex 5n. But it is much bigger and heavier than a Contax G 28 with nex adapter. The Contax 28 works very well on a nex5n. Great lens.
You could use a nex nikon tilt adapter with the Nikon 28. That in combination with Nikon's 28 AIS close focus abilties and bokeh is a nice goddie for close up shots.
But as a small and lightweight all purpose lens the G28 is better.

28 or 35 seem to be the most popular normals on the nex. My normal is the 28 Sumicron. But, I often tradeout for other lenses, mostly for the sake of variety.

True "normal", should be fast enough to go indoors I think.

That's Where it gets tricky :-)

most of these with 70400g

The most interesting behavior is often too fast for the eye aided, or unaided. Even 3200 will not stop a power stroke. I tripped and bruised numerous parts up in a high circ last week, and have been shooting lots of these guys while the swelling goes down Nothing torn or broken
