definitely prefer the voigtlander shot in this case.

Yeah, it's not really a fair comparison. I've taken some flower shots with the G90 that I was really happy with, that one isn't one of those. I just happened to have that lens on as I walked back to the car past that spot, so I shot a pic for comparison.

Hmm, looking back at said G90 flower pics, I'm wondering if either a) the above wasn't really MFD, or b) these pics from last year weren't really the G90. They have a quite different character:

The last one isn't great but has a pretty distinctive OOF look. I think perhaps I'd switched lenses for those but forgot to write it down.

It was a good day to get a new wide-angle lens.

Three from the garden today -- Nex 7 Leica Elmar 50mm 2.8 Fotodiox focusing adapter
(Pardon me, I first said these shots were from my Nex 5n but I just noticed the Elmar was on the Nex 7)

Taylor -- LIke the flare also and that lizard really got me. I might be expecting a bee or a fly but that lizard is quite the exception.

Sebboh -- really like your B&W every time you do it.

Thanks ebookman! Actually it's a weather effect, a 22-degree halo, not lens flare. It was like that all afternoon!
