Hello,
Do any of R Summilux lens go well with the 5DMkII?
Thought I read there were mirror issues.
I was wanting to replace my stolen Summicron 50 with something.
Now thinking of the 100 2.8 macro, though the Summilux lenses look appealing.

Almost all works perfect. A some lenses need the modification to avoid touching the mirror(R35/1.4, R19/2.8 II, latest R50/1.4E60 need small modification, R24/2.8, R28-90 and few other).

To help get rid of the taste of shit beer?

That last set is excellent, by the way.

Hand held at f/11? That is hard for macro shot in the wild unless you have flash.

Handheld lying in the grass, my ellbow on the ground. In full sun, however.

John- Nice greens in the last park shot.
Looks like an excellent zoom.
Phuang 3 - excellent shot! Time for me to get my copy of the Leica Compendium.
Hlux - sweet macro shot!

Does the R 35 1.4 not just work for infinity or is it a full clearance issue.

The R35/1.4 without modification allows you to focus from 0.5m to ~1.1m. After that touches the mirror on full-frame cameras Nikon and Canon
