A few more, this time from Sibiu, Romania. Lens was 21mm Distagon on A7r:

This one was shot through a window, so pardon the loss of contrast:

Thanks wiseguy! Saw your Otus portrait from today. Fantastic!

Here's a couple of "cinematic" / "film look" photos I shot last year.

A few from a walk with my son today. A cool breeze off the lake seemed to settle all the critters down and they let me get fairly close. These are all with the 100 MP.

Hi all,

Did not visit this forum long, long time but came back after a long time. Meanwhile I've shot too many weddings, took a 300 day break of photography and sold most of my gear, except a D700, the CZ35/1.4 and 85/1.4, some lights and reflectors.

At the moment I am halfway through this thread, but wanted to introduce myself as I enjoy the read a lot.

Hope you will enjoy my images a lot; as I do mostly people, it will bring some diversity as I can't beat the great landscape- & nature images shown here.

Here are some more from yesterday's walk. These are of a family of Red Necked Grebe's that have a nest not far from my house. The light was harsh so I had to push the files more in post than I would like, but it was a lot of fun watching them and catching some of the action.

This is from a walk today at the fish hatchery. Very harsh light, polarizer helped on the water. Hand held.

@Tsmith: lovely images of your cat.

One more from my first session of my P85 (shot in 2012 though). This session opened my eyes: for years I was trying to find the film-look. Before digital, I uses Contax G-series and could never get THE look. After the first session, I realized it was not the film-look I was looking for, but the Zeiss look.

Knocking it out of the park Ronny! I'm so envious of your macro skills. Epic work as always!
