I recently received my new 135/2 and mounted in on the Fuji X-T1, taking some shots around the house, attempting to re-adapt to manual focus (it's been quite awhile). Here is one simple capture that I particularly liked for texture, color, rendition etc.

Some pics from last autumn-winter in Yamagata, Japan

Thanks! I have spent a fair amount of time in Sendai and Yamagata. Lived not too far from you, though the opposite side of the mountains for many years. Know that area very well. I have really liked your recent posts.

Ryan

Thanks! I'm about to travel to Mt. Zao and take some photo of Okama crater, do you know what is the best time to see blue/green color of that lake?

Apparently, my iPad was refusing to load some images on the previous page. Steve, love the blue and white flowers.

Ronny, great shot of the pair of dahlias.

Diploneis, that second shot is fantastic. Great juxtaposition of colors.

And why would you?
This is one of the best 21mm lenses out there and, at least versions with an aperture ring, can be used on many existing camera formats.

Molokai is the only Hawaiian island I have yet to visit. Those are pretty motivating photos!

Thanks, all. I highly recommend Blue Hawaii Helicopter and the upgrade to the newer/larger helicopter with the large windows. They give seating preference to the first to arrive, so getting there early gets you the front seat with essentially nothing but windows. It was easily one of the neatest things that I have done. Simply breathtaking.
