Very harsh sunlight on the sea, had to struggle to not blow highlights too much,

Thanks, Ronny. Here are a couple of sunrise atop Mt. Haleakala. It was a surreal photo shoot, as the cloud / mist level was right at the top, so every few minutes the area was blanketed with mist and then almost immediately dried off again due to the otherwise low pressure and dry location. It was so cold, and I had so many layers of clothing on, at first I did not realize that my gear was dripping wet. It became a challenge to clear everything off in between shots to catch the rapidly changing colors and cloud formations. Both shots below with ZE 2.8/21.

Fun!!!

A couple of long exposure shots from Jogazaki, Japan. Both were taken with the A7r and the 21mm ZE Distagon, with 16 stops of ND. Those "rocks" are actually sea cliffs which are about 50m high.

Thanks! I have spent a fair amount of time in Sendai and Yamagata. Lived not too far from you, though the opposite side of the mountains for many years. Know that area very well. I have really liked your recent posts.

I recently received my new 135/2 and mounted in on the Fuji X-T1, taking some shots around the house, attempting to re-adapt to manual focus (it's been quite awhile). Here is one simple capture that I particularly liked for texture, color, rendition etc.

Thanks! I'm about to travel to Mt. Zao and take some photo of Okama crater, do you know what is the best time to see blue/green color of that lake?

Apparently, my iPad was refusing to load some images on the previous page. Steve, love the blue and white flowers.

Ronny, great shot of the pair of dahlias.

Diploneis, that second shot is fantastic. Great juxtaposition of colors.
