^^ I really like these images, Toothwalker. Nice composition, inviting feel to the images, and b&w tonality.

I am glad someone likes them. The tonality is quite ok, given the fact that they are ISO 3200.

Hi there,
Glad the thread is still alive and permanently gets new great pics.
Here is my contribution - my 1st image taken in Khao-Lak Bhandari Resort, Thailand on holidays with 100 MP ZE at 2.0.

+1. Could it also be the low point of view that gives the inviting feel? I don't know. BW tonality is very nice.

Excellent series, Toothwalker! The composition of the second image really stands out for me.

Well, I was going to post a series, but then it kicked me to text only edits, so my apologies. There seems to be no way to correct it.

Here's a project from long ago, with the old D3, D2Xs and the ZF 100/2.

Deer Girl, by the late (and world class) doll maker, Akira Blount:

The three dolls we own: http://danmacdonald.zenfolio.com/akirablount/slideshow

Our dolls are behind museum UV resistant Plexiglas, so they still look as colorful as they did on this shoot. I might go back and do the series with the Otus 85 or the Coastal Optics 60 on the D810.
Akira was one of the most talented people I've ever known.

Ronny - Amazing color with MP / extension tube. Thin DOF is quite interesting in this shot.

ZF.2 35/2 @ 2.5 ( vignette is added )

That is the photo as it is stored on your site. What did you do with the processing?

Probably topaz in focus and sharpness slider, might be smart sharpen, with masked eye area.

100 MP

lenses are so much more important than the body, it is scary. If I stay with Canon I would probably switch to 5d classic, or cheap body, I would prefer to have otus than 5d3. But I think I will go for Nikon, d810 has nice colors, and I dont care about Canons lenses. they are not match for Zeiss. No other lens has same colors or resolution. You can not fake it. Canon is better for professional journalists, etc. But for art and character, Zeiss.

An apt title might be "Twin mountains."
