Hello there. I'm new here, and quite new in the Zeiss world. Got myself a Planar 50/1.4 this spring and bought a Distagon 28/2 last month. Now I try to hold myself back from getting more of this fabulous lenses. Anyway, here is a photo from my new 28/2.

Best regards

A riot in colour, the B&W version has less distraction from the subject.

This is just having a little fun testing my pano-gear: a manual exposure blend on a 2 x 8 vertical frame pano with the MP 2/100 ZE :

2/35 Distagon

Went for a relatively compact setup for a street walk a couple of weeks ago, blowing the cobwebs off my old D90 (rather than a gripped D700) and using the 2/35 Distagon. It was stinking hot and Ramadan, so no food or drink in public, so I wanted to be carrying as little as possible.

The old girl still did OK, until a passer by hit my arm as I was bringing the camera up to shoot and the camera flew out of my hand. 2.5m later, the fall was broken by the 2/35, but luckily all is still working well.

Here are a few D90 + 2/35 combo shots from the day:
