Went to Edinburgh Zoo today with my 3 year old daughter and couldn't resist taking the camera. Here are a few from the visit. All of these were taken through glass and using high ISO's so the quality could be better. Please comment as any advice is always useful to me.

I don't know if that is a rhino or elephant, but nice crop.

Nice set of shots. I think it's an elephant. Looks like you had a nice day there.

It's a one horned male rhino.

Sorry Hope neither you nor the rhino are upset with me.

Wow, that leopard has come out real good. The others are all pretty good too but that one really stands out for me.

Not upset in the slightest Lil, I did have a great day but my daughter loved it more. Wants to go back already. Will probably post a few more tonight.

Many thanks for looking and any more comments are welcome.

They all have beautiful lighting, Ken, and they all are really pleasing images tastefully composed. Excellent job hiding the Zoo habitat. I like them all, eventhough in the fourth image I would've liked the focus to be on the eyes rather than on the nose. Well done.

Ken, Lil pointed out on another post how difficult Zoo shots can be. Often there are barriers in the way, people in the BG or an unnatural appearing enviornment. I really think that you did a great job overcoming these factors. Your crops are all very nice. Great job.

Thanks for the comments guys. The shot of the black jaguar is the only one I got. I'm annoyed the focus is more on the nose, but what can you do?
