A couple of recent photos that I would like feedback on

1st one has nice colors, horizon is in the right place. Nice color. Good capture of the sun. The horizon might be a smidge tilted. But for me the industial nature of the skyline with power lines and buildings is distracting. If you want them in I would make the bigger in the features.

The 2nd is very nice. You stopped the action and got great emotion. Its hard to make any suggestions its so good. However to be nitpicky, you might consider a bit more space to run into on left.

The second one is great. The first one falls in to the category of nice sky - shame about the view

Both I agree with Paul and Scott: second is captured just right. Great expressions, sense of action.
The problem with sunsets is, we all have seen many excellent ones, and this one is captured well. I think the standards for praise on these tend to run very high, at least on photo forums. Usually you need some impressive foreground interest as well, or wonderful silhouetting. Still, I think you've done an excellent job.

Hi Scott,

I agree with your comment on the sunset even though the city scape is not the best.

I do perfer shooting sports, but need to develop other techniques
