This is close to my heart. A true RETRO model of the old style Radio Flyer tricycles. I want one (again)!!! A hardware store nearby sells these and this one was near the front window giving me some great natural lighting.

Here's why I say I want one "again". Me at age 3! Don't ask what year. lol (My mother had a thing for very short bangs. Good thing I was too young to know. *sigh*)

So awesome Bev. What a true take on Retro. You are even bright and special as a 3 year old. Wonderful shot, great lighting, perfect story.

Check it out! Very cool. Love the lighting. Pretty impressive for available light on location. Great capture.

Also, that's a precious picture of you on the trike.

BTW, Where'd you find the new trike? Breed & Co.?

Thanks, Steve! You are always so sweet. The lighting was so fortunate, and I was really lucky to have an open space to help isolate it.

Alex:
Thanks! It's a fun subject, and the trike brings back really happy memories. I tried to learn to ride one before my feet would reach the pedals, and I'd get so frustrated! The happy memories came after my feet could reach the pedals. ha These are at Zinger hardware on Anderson Lane. They used to have the aeroplanes, too; today they had the trikes and a rocket ship car, but it was jammed against the window. I was content to move this trike into an open area and keep the angle so I could isolate it from the other toys.

Very, Very cool. The B&W shot brings back memories of my dads pics of us growing up.
I had one of these trikes and as my mom tells the story I left it behind our neighbors car and she ran it over backing the car out of the drive. I retaliated and broke off one of here windshield wipers. Wish I had a picture of that.

Really nice lighting, Beverly. A very good fit for the assignment. I had one of those contemporary Radio Flyers for my kids, but it didn't last too long. I got mine at Quality Farm and Fleet. It was made well...like the original, but my kids can destroy anything.

Bev,
I loved your previous entry, but this has a great feel to it!
Love the lighting! Well done.
And thanks for sharing the old photo with us too... priceless. I'm going to guess that was taken 25 years ago. (Do I get any points for that guess?)

Klaus, Jim, and Nick:
Thanks for the nice comments!!! Window light and an open space; just lucked out on that for the location. Glad u like.

Carrol:
Wow, you're my new best friend! lol 25 years is close enough! ;-) I'll have to vote for YOUR entry in the finals; the least I can do! Thanks.

Bravo, yet again! What to say? Bravo! Great work!

Shameless purchasing of votes by Carrol. I know for a fact that second shot was done 23 years ago.

Fond regards,

Endre
