I recently had the opportunity to tag along with the professional photographer at my friend's daughter's wedding. Matt, the WP, was awesome and more than happy to let me have a go at getting some pics. Even making sure at times that I'd got the shots I wanted!

I made sure I didn't get in his way, and mainly played around getting some candids when he had finished taking his shots he'd set up. I deliberately didn't use any flash either, as I didn't want to interfere with his exposures.

The wedding ceremony was held at The Elms Mission House in Tauranga, followed by a visit to two different spots at Mount Maunganui (surf beach) and then the reception at Olive Tree Cottage in Tauranga.

I found the beach pics very challenging as Matt chose to set the bridal party up in very bright dappled sunlight. My WB and exposures weren't all that consistent so any advice for this type of situation would be great. My monitor isn't calibrated either, so PP comments would be very welcome also.

Had a great time and got some results I was really pleased with but am keen to learn from my mistakes, so constructive criticism would great.

Don't be too brutal though - I'm a real novice at this

Many thanks
Judy
