Here are a few snaps from the Mint Hill Scottish Society Highland Games held in Mint Hill NC, just outside of Charlotte. It started to rain, so I don;t have much of a variety, but I felt that these were different enough, that you all might like to see them. BTW, I am not a sports shooter, but I felt that these belonged here.

Great fun shots, with #4 easily being my favorite.

They look a little overprocessed to me. I can see a halo around #1. And did you add the blur in #4? It looks a little off...

I don't think they're over-processed, but thanks for your input. It's subjective, I know, but I like it.

Yes, I also added the blur.

I think you did a graet job shooting. I can smell the pulled pork, and Carolina bar-b-que from here

I liked 4 until you said you added the blur

None of the posted images is an accurate representation of what I saw, but rather they are my artistic representation. My pictures are very unrealistic looking, and that's okay with me.

Thats generally the way sports go though. You look for realistic images...

You just claimed they look unrealistic so to me, as someone who shoot sports, they look overprocessed. Not my thing but whatever makes you happy I suppose. YOu wont find it in SI or the like though..

I just think they need more contexts

I like them, it cant have been an easy thing to shoot and I think you did a good job!

I didn't stay long enough to eat anything. The weather turned bad, and I left before I could work up an appetite. I did go to lunch with my wife and her family though....we ate a local BBQ place. Love some NC BBQ! God bless your Son, and I hope he has a safe tour.
