I have someone offering me their semi beat up 28-70 2.8 lens for $450... comes with polarizing filter, caps and lens hood. No box or papers. Good deal? |

what do you mean by "beat up"? |

There is wear on the body - paint wear etc. but the optics seem to be fine. A few scratches on the distance scale, but nothing too major. |

He also says it has (quoting email) "regular factory-certified maintainence". |

I expect that's a great price, assuming the lens is in good working order. I loved my 28-70L/2.8, maybe even more than the 24-70L/2.8 I replaced it with, but I really do use the extra width. |

GREAT price if the optics are pristine. Just go to the seller with a camera and laptop and check out a 100% shot! |
