Do you say the letters separately, E-X-I-F?

Or do you pronounce it as if it were a single word, like most people say "UNICEF?" I guess then it would be ex-if.

Couldn't find it on line, and I've never heard it spoken out loud.

As if it was a single word, like this: XIPH

Just like the word "EXIT" but with an "F" sound instead of the "T" sound.

Not sure of the proper phonetics: Eks-if

I just say exif

Thank you all very much. This is something I've been wondering about for ages, but never remember to ask in person when there's someone around who would know.

One question down and only a gazillion more to go...if I can just remember what they were.
