Happy new year everyone, I had a few days off over the Holidays, I would like to share a few captures that shot at a few local Southern California hot spots

as colorful and detailed as the mandarins are, I still have to go with the jays as my favs. Comps, colors and BG's are super Steve

Beautiful Steve, but it looks like you may have used a tad too much flash on # 1. Hopefully I'm wrong...

BTW, when it rains here it pours - - the sky opens up & someone has turned on a faucet full speed & left it running..... ;-)

wow steve. where in socal did you shoot that mandarin. the only one that i've ever seen was at central park in huntington beach. beautiful shots btw.

Very pretty pictures - a VERY good start for the year. I really like #2, and the ducks are quite nice too; well done.

Number One is one of the finest Scrub Jay shots I have seen to date. Perfect even exposure and a nice clean pose. Great job on the mandarin and the woodies as well.
