Rob, I really like the position of the sunburst. But is 'beyond blue' the color balance you were aiming for?

Well, I'm not actually sure . I seem to be having trouble with this particular plane with the turquoise, blue and black it has. That blue comes up when I use the narrow white stripes on the wings as "white". But it is rather vivid
. Here's a more toned down version although it's still rather blue.

That "Rob & Kevin" picture is absolutely stunning - I started off thinking it must be a PS collage but I guess it isn't. Even if it was, it would be incredible

Quick question for Warbird hunters out there. Does anyone know of any consortiums running and flying an A6 Intruder of any kind?

I understand some of the Avionics would have to be taken off.

Just curious as it would seem a waste if there weren't any flying still.

AFAIK, no A-6 currently flying.

The history of every one of the 693 A-6 Intruders built is listed here:

When you want Spirit centered over the Alliance tower and you got 3 seconds to get the shot with a 30 knots closure going almost 200 knots, who you gonna call?

Brief video to accompany the still extracted from it....

It was great seeing everyone again and putting more faces to names from this thread.

This is what I got during Jan-Aries's photo of me shooting the T-Birds.

Glenn,

Look back at your A2A stuff from about this time last year and compare to the stuff you've posted in the past 2months.

Now the images just pop off the page without the sliders or clarity being pushed the way they were in the past.

This suggests that not only are your RAW files better, but that your processing and workflow is really dialled in now.

Jim / Steve Z,

Did either of you get your iMac 5k yet?

What are your thoughts?

Would have loved to have made it over, but work is sending me to college 1 day per week, so can't get time off in term time. Got 2 years college to do, and then possibly a further 3 years at university. If I do the further 3 years then I would end up with an engineering degree.
