Great stuff from TN, Glenn!

There's a distracting glow around the vertical stab of the lead Redline a/c in this one. Pushing the sliders a little too hard, were you?

I love the effect of Brent's scowl in this one, Jay. Overall, I think I like the B&W version a little better.

So... I have a Galaxy tab sitting here in my lap... And I am. Amazed at how much better the photos look. Much better than any computer I use. Amazing tech that I can hold in my hand.... How much do I have to spend to have that on my desktop? And are my desktop displays just that bad?

Thanks for the insight Jeff, I really love that last one. The mixture of golden light and deep shadows makes it really three-dimensional.

Living by Opa Locka airport in Miami, I have been fortunate enough to see rare subjects and events at the Airstrip. OPF is known for scrapping of planes and I was very blessed to get some inside access. I think the compositions of them are effective for creating a story to whats happening:

Hate to see airframes die in that manner, but such is the circle of aviation life I guess...

Good stuff. All the wildcat & Fw190/P-51 photos you've posted from that Madras Air to air event are awesome.

I need to make it a point to attend that next year.

Great stuff, everyone. Jeff, I'm particularly wowed by your long-distance Harrier departure shot and your TOPP image... three-dimensional I tell you.

I'm no longer "amazed" by anything around here, as the bar has been This High [tm] for as long as I can remember... but I'm still impressed by nearly every image I see from the best shooters in this group, and delighted to see the progress made by our younger/newer shooters as they grow over time.

Rock on, y'all.
