I also would like to visit white sands and El Paso mere an sentimental trip as my late father was stationed at Fort Bliss during his draft serving in the airforce as a HiPr radar operator on the the Hawk SAM battery.....

He wasn't in the US airforce but the Dutch but received the training over there.
but it rubbed off that's for sure can't wait to get back to Texas will be in Houston in 2 weeks time but only for two hours on my way to Florida but I will be back in October.....

Jay, love the night shots, especially Rocketeer. Did ambient give you that exposure, or maybe some light painting of the fuselage? Seems like the exposure balance between the aluminum and the sky must have been hard to achieve.

And the Blues from underneath - you'd think after 4100 pages there wouldn't be any new ways to shoot them, but I don't recall a perspective like that one before.

30s Exposure @ f/8 IIRC... Ambient was a combo of minimal ramp lighting and a full moon.
