Yes Welcome Peter, and welcome back Russ!

Cool stuff Jan Arie!

JJ, this thread costs all of us money. What the heck, we'd just waste it someplace else like groceries, tuition, the mortgage..........

FYI, looks like the pre trip, and the air to air programs at ISAP 2013 are getting close to full. Just a few slots left on each activity. I'm going to cringe over not being there.

Oh well, this is a business, not a hobby. That's a perspective I adopted early on and it has served me pretty well. The other mindset I burned in early in my career is "Successful people make a habit of doing the things they don't want to do." I forget who said that, I think Earl Nightingale, a motivator from five decades ago. Very true though.

I have far more cars than planes, but here's some "old prints" edits from last year's EAA warbirds show, all with my 300mm ED AIS on D7000

A little too early to roll out all the details, but a good friend and I put together the beginnings of what just might be a series of the best, and most unique A2A experiences ever. The variety of platforms, subjects, and locations will be wonderful. Many details to work out, all very doable, you're going to love the program, and it will be ongoing, stay tuned!

Well "program" is probably a misnomer. These will be individual opportunities staged in varied locations, with a variety of subjects. The events will be created through the web of connections and influence the two of us have built over decades of shooting professionally, thus opportunities that would be difficult, if not impossible for anyone else to orchestrate. Some of them will be attached to unique aviation happenings, others will be specially orchestrated for subjects, seasons, backdrops, light quality, access, that will set the imaging opportunities apart from anything you've experienced in the past. The length of these missions will vary, but how would you like to be air to air with the world's only "fill in the blank" for 15 minutes? Or maybe a Reno Racer, possibly a BBJ/747 would light your fire. The possibilities and opportunities are endless. I can already picture the grins.
