Hello everyone!! I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday. With the WA, I couldn't help but think about my little girl I was over my sisters new house and had a few of the little ones there. I took this shot of her. It was so subtle but adorable. I wasn't sure on how to change the background in photo shop, so the only thing I did was a little blurring/smudging and changed the tone of the color. I hope this isn't to far away from the rules as I really didn't get to fancy (still don't know how) but I liked the results on this first try. I also wanted to post for my dear friends up here to see my little precious.. God bless you all.

A very nice shot, Steve, of a beautiful little girl. She's a keeper. What a serious expression she has. What ever editing you did to the background looks very nice. Well done. Merry Christmas.

Steve this is adorable. The PS effect that you did the edges seem too sharp to the left of her head. If you blurred it some more it would look more natural. She is beautiful. Makes me miss that time in my life. Cherish every moment and capture some of them.

hhski, I do appreciate the comments. She is beautiful and I will Cherish this new beginning for certain. Not only with her, but she is bringing out the new in me and putting me on a better path than my past. Now as to the edges you are talking about, is it the effect, or something on her actual head. Could you be a little more specific? I do appreciate it.

the effect on the gown to the left of her head.

Ok, I did see that before. It was a really bad highlighted spot that was difficult to take out. When I get a few minutes after some catching up, I will see if I can fix it. thanks so much

Steve, You have a little angel there with beautiful features. My children are all grown and I didn't have a decent camera when they were little. Keep capturing those precious moments. Thea

Thea, I only have one picture of myself from my childhood. JUST ONE!! and that one is not very clear. To this day it subconciously bothered me and the BIGGEST reason why I have such a passion for shooting pictures. I don't want anyone to have to go through that sort of thing. So believe me, I do understand and appreciate your comments

Steve I really do appreciate your comment on the picture. It was one that I messed around with while still trying to learn photoshop. I thought it was different from all the other pictures I have of her..

Thanks a lot buddy.
