I heard that a reputable newspaper in Toronto is going to be getting all new cam's for their staff photographers... |

Well, not this newspaper --- they have way too much money invested in Nikon gear, they supply camera's to the staff, and they will be Nikon. I was assured by one of the guys. |

Well, it is great news, no doubt about it, because extra competition means lower prices for all. That said, a 1.13x crop does not equal FF. |

Yeah, ive never quite understood this FF crap. any variant of 4x5 is FF, not a 2x3 ratio. I work in 8x10, thats full frame. A friend of mine works with 16x20, thats overkill.. |

Actually, we really have NO confirmation that it is 1.13X. This is simply a theory that has been batted around the forums. |

Would a 1.13X crop be within what a DX lens covers? |
